Everything You Need to Know About our treatments: A Professional Guide to Wellness Support
In today’s fast-paced world, many people are looking for convenient ways to reach an optimal level of health. Intravenous (IV) therapy, also known as vitamin drips, has gained attention as a modern approach to delivering selected nutrients directly into the bloodstream - offering an alternative to oral supplements and helping support hydration, energy levels, immune health and much more.
At Beja Aesthetics, we offer treatments designed with your unique needs in mind. Here’s everything you need to know about vitamin infusions and injections, and how it may support your health and lifestyle.
-
Vitamin Infusions involve the administration of fluids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants delivered directly into your bloodstream through a small cannula placed in a vein.

Yes. For your safety and best results, we require a consultation prior to any infusion. In this appointment we will:
Review your health history, medications, allergies, and current concerns.
Explain how IV therapy works, potential benefits, risks, and alternatives.
Check suitability (including baseline observations as needed) and answer questions.
Obtain informed consent before proceeding.
If the treatment isn’t suitable, we won’t go ahead and may suggest other options or refer you to your healthcare provider.
-
Vitamin Infusions may be used to support a range of general wellbeing goals. Common reasons people choose this method include:
Hydration support after travel, busy schedules or warm weather
Energy support to help manage daily fatigue and promote vitality
Immune support during the change of seasons or post-illness recovery
General wellness maintenance as part of a broader health routine
It’s important to note that a Vitamin Drips are not a replacement for a balanced diet or medical treatment, but may complement a healthy lifestyle.

Yes, within clinical guidelines. Every client completes a one-on-one consultation so we can understand your goals, medical history, medications/allergies, and any contraindications. Based on that, a registered health professional can adjust the treatment.

After your infusion, most people can return to their usual daily activities right away. To make sure you feel your best and to support recovery, we recommend the following:
Hydration: Continue to drink water throughout the day to support circulation and nutrient absorption.
Keep the site clean and dry: Leave the small dressing over the cannula site in place for at least 1–2 hours. Remove it later that day, unless advised otherwise.
Mild tenderness or bruising: It’s normal to notice slight discomfort, redness, or bruising at the needle site. This usually resolves within a few days. A cool compress may help.
Activity: You can continue with normal activity, but avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise with the infused arm for the rest of the day.
Monitor for changes: If you notice unusual swelling, increasing pain, redness, or any symptoms that concern you, contact us promptly or seek medical attention.
We’ll also give you tailored aftercare advice in person based on your infusion and health profile.
